  • Teddy is on the left running sprints. Jack is on the right and his "trainer".
  • I used to think intervals were just the times between snacks.
  • You're going to get in shape or else!
  • Teddy's father divorced his mom when he was 4 years old and moved to California to work. He just shows up out of nowhere.
  • What is HE doing here?!
  • Uhhh...
  • "Hey Champ"
  • Jack got hurt as starting Quarterback and Teddy is his replacement. Teddy is a mess coming from practice.
  • You're in Teddy!
  • Oh no! I'm not even a Quarterback!
  • A symbol in this story is football. Football symbolizes his health and how determined he was and his perseverance to change the way he felt physically and mentally.
  • This is the scene where Teddy makes the game-winning catch.
  • The point of view is from Teddy’s viewpoint because you understand his thoughts and emotions towards everything.
  • The difference between Teddy on the left and Teddy on the right is Teddy on the right became determined to lose weight, workout, and make the starting lineup.

  • And this is the Teddy that is leading his team to the playoffs
  • The theme of the book is to enjoy what you have while it lasts because you never know when it could be taken from you. Like Jack, he was the starting QB and gets hurt and can’t play anymore.
