I was born on September 6 in 2004 in a hospital located in Rome, Italy.
Growing up, I did not see my parents that often, they went to work in Germany, and my father would come and visit occasionally so I was living with my grandparents and my uncle for most of the first six years of my life.
A lot of my childhood was spent moving, not from country to country, but from school to school. It was hard for me to make friends that way, I would make friends, then I would have to move around a year later. Luckily, I had one friend named "Le", their family owned a small shop basically under the apartment I was living in.
Hi Le! It's been a while!
Welcome back! How do you feel?
After school, I would often go downstairs from my apartment to see if he wanted to play. Most of the time he would be there and we would play with our toys for a few hours and then be picked up by our parents.
I remember once I got chickenpox and I had to stay home for over two weeks. It was extremely boring at home, I would wake up, sit in front of the TV and do nothing for the entire day. I would often think about Le, wondering what he was doing.
After what felt like forever, I was finally cured of chickenpox and I was able to leave my house. I went to school and right after, I went to look for Le and sure enough, he was sitting there, just watching TV.
