Waning Gibbous and full moon:When the full moon turns into a full moon its in the opposite side of the earth so all the light that is being casted from the sunlight part of the moon will be towards us,The light of the sun continually decreases and makes the waning gibbous up next
Waxing crescent: after the new moon the sunlight portion starts increasing making it the waxing crescent
First quarter:The first quarter happens when the moon is at a 90 degree angel which makes the moon have a straight part showing light and the other half not being to lit up.
