- Zechariah goes into the temple
- Gabriel shows himself to Zecharia
- Wait waa.....?
- Zechariah can't speak
- Zechariah, a priest from the tribe of Aaron, went inside the temple to burn incense. With him, his wife Elizabeth and other priests waited outside the temple for Zechariah. Both Zechariah and Elizabeth were very old and had no children because Elizabeth could not conceive.
- Gabriel shows himself to Mary
- When Zechariah went inside of the temple an angel of the Lord came to him and told him, "Do not be afraid! I come bearing the good news. You and your wife will have a son and you will name him John. He will be a joy and a delight to you and to many. He will be great in the eyes of the Lord." Zechariah was stunned so he asked, "Are you sure? Me and my wife are very old."
- Mary visits Elizabeth
- The angel answered, "I am Gabriel! I stand in the presence of the Lord , and have been sent here to tell you the good news. You will not be able to speak anymore because you doubted God until your son is born." Zechariah became terrified. He left the temple without saying anything so the people knew he had a vision. Not long after Elizabeth became pregnant and remained in seclusion.

- Six months into Elizabeth's pregnancy Gabriel went to to Nazareth, a town in Galilee to visit a virgin soon to be married to a man named Joseph. Her name was Mary. The angel appeared to Mary and told her, "Do not be afraid for you have found favor with God. You will have a son and you are to name him Jesus. He will be great and he will be called the Son of The Most High."
- Mary was baffled and confused. She asked Gabriel "How will I have a son if I'm still a virgin?" The angel answered, "The Holy spirit will come to you and the power of God will overshadow you. Even Elizabeth your cousin will have a son in her old age." Mary was humbled. Soon after Mary went to visit Elizabeth. When she greeted Elizabeth her baby leaped joyfully in her womb.
- A few months later it was time for Elizabeth to give birth to her son. All of her neighbors and relatives heard about the good news and the shared her joy. Once the boy was born everyone there assumed they would name the boy Zechariah but when they were about to name him Zechariah took a tablet and wrote something down. When he was done he showed it to everyone and said "His name is John". Everyone was shocked and overjoyed that Zechariah could speak again.
