  • They had a race and they started to argue because Phaethon doesn't hang out with his dad and Epaphus. Phaethon proves his lies to Epaphus

  • " I will do anything in my power to help you."
  • they are still arguing because epaphus told Phaethon that Apollo is not his father. Then Phaethon goes to the palace of the sun.

  • One of Apollos birds told him that he had seen one of his sons. Apollo tells the bird to bring him in comfort.
  • resolution
  • Phaethon chooses to drive the sun chariot close to earth to prove it's him driving.
  • "I wish to drive the sun across the sky." 
  • Phaethon tells Apollo that he wants to ride the chariot. So phaethon rides the chariot.
  • Phaethon dies just to prove Epaphus wrong and Zeus makes a thunder bolt and thought is was Apollo.
