Little Red Riding Hood's Mother had asked her to deliver a basket of fruit to her ill grandmother.
Her mother had told her to stay on the path, to not stop for anything, and most important to not talk to strangers.
On her way to her Grandmother's house, a wolf stopped and talked to her. Ignoring her mother's rule's, she engages in conversation. He asked her where she was going and then they both went their separate ways.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her Grandmother's house, she knocked on the door. Her Grandmother yelled telling her to come in and that she is too weak to get up.
Almost immediately, Red Riding hood noticed her Grandmother's odd appearance. She questioned her Grandmother, but she was also eaten before she realized.
Luckily, a huntsman heard the wolf and was able to save both Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother by cutting the wolf's stomach. He then went and threw the wolf's rock filled body down the well.
