Brendan Meehan Understanding financial literacy
This storyboard does not have a description.
Oh sorry! I didn't know anyone else was up here, i just came to clear my head about my finances...
What's wrong with them? Well right now i'm just floating from paycheck to paycheck because i haven't been budgeting.
Since financial literacy isn't my biggest thing, I have to live mostly on the cheap side of life.
I realize what I should have done is set a financial goal to space out how much I could spend
I'm mostly on the lucky side though, I've managed to not go over how much is in my savings account.
If I did that, well that'd be a whole lot more trouble! The bank could hit me with a penalty or even an insufficient funds fee (NSF) and that's no fun at all.
I should have been smart and gotten a debit card to keep track of my account instead of waiting to pay my insane purchases off with a credit card at the end of the month.
The government will always know if you've payed your credit cards off, how many you have you how much their limit is by simply looking at your credit report.
Being able to talk about this has really cleared up my head and see where I went wrong!
F-r-e-e that spells free, credit report.com baby
Even if they don't teach you it in school always pay attention and ask someone older who you trust on what might be the best course of action to prepare from the future.
Take it from me! Be prepared for anything!
