The First Estate is where the clergy lived in rich and luxury places. They also collected a tithe (taxes) from the peasants.
The Second Estate is where the nobles had full power over the peasants. They did not have to do a lot of dirty work. The nobles collected tolls from people by using the roads and different markets.
The Third Estate was with the peasants having to pay taxes for the higher estates. They also had to do military services, pay a load of taxes to the king and church, and were not aloud to hunt or fish on the nobles estates
