Thousands of years ago, a man name Siddhartha Gautama was born in 563 B.C. Siddhartha's father meets with a fortune teller who predicts Siddhartha will be a king or religious leader. This means that Siddhartha's dad really wants Siddhartha to become an amazing king.
"I am meditating under s tree to think about my life."
Siddhartha grow up in a life of luxury without experiencing pain or sadness. Siddhartha's dad would protect him from anyone that was poor, sad or sick. Whenever he went the guards would have to go ahead and get any sick people off of the street before the king came.
"Even if my blood should run dry, I will never leave this seat until truth has been realized."
Siddhartha saw a man leaning on a stick, he saw a man with a disease, he also saw a man die, the person he saw was a homeless man. After this he was able to see the world in a different kind of view. He cut his hair, traded his rick clothes for just a yellow outfit.
I am not a god i am just like you everyone else.
Siddhartha slept in a tree / cave instead of a palace. Siddhartha life was basically an endless cycle of there birth, death, and then rebirth. This changed Siddhartha's life forever.
Siddhartha mediated under a fig tree. After this the tree was then named the "Bod hi Tree" which is the tree of knowledge. Something amazing he said was "Even if my blood should run dry, I will never leave this seat until truth has been realized."
Siddhartha has a lot of purpose in life, one thing that he really want to accomplish was awakening the world to problems. He was able to go in the world and show them what he has learned. We did not want to be called God he would not respond to the name God he would say he was not a God.
