  • Have to read the rules before I start my assignment
  • Have to go to the Giver's house and follow the rules
  • My house is better than everyones
  • Jonas has been assigned to be the Receiver of Memory. He is responsible for the memories of the community .
  • This is what happens when you are the receiver 
  • These dreams are freaking me out
  • He has to go to the house every day at the end of school hours. He can be rude also he can ask any questions of any citizen. He has to go to his dwelling at the conclusion. He is not aloud to discuss his training to anyone even his parents. He is not aloud to tell anyone the dreams he has.  He is not aloud to take any medication. He is not aloud to apply for release. He is aloud to lie to anyone he wants to.
  • So we can be perfect
  • Why can't we make our decisions
  • So we don't mess this community up
  • The three differences between the Givers home and the rest of the home are. The Giver has lock's on his doors and they do not. The Giver has more nice things than the community has. The Giver has a bunch of books and the community can only have two
  • I can see a lot of colors
  • The memories that the Giver transmits the first day are Jonas pictured himself sledding- Snow, runners,cold,hills He pictured sunshine- Warmth He pictured himself getting sunburned- Pain
  • The community can't make their own decisions because they wanted to be a Perfect society.   
  • Seeing Beyond is the ability to use any of the senses that were present in the memories. Jonas has the ability to reveal itself in the ability to see color.
