Storyboard Text

  • I wear a tunic, a toga, woolen cloth, and shoes. Metella wears a stola, a large shawl, makeup and jewelry.
  • My slaves would help me with my makeup. For breakfast we would have a cup of water and bread.
  • Clients mean customers and patronus means favorite. First thing in the morning Caeclius would get dressed and wash his hands and face.
  • I usually have my banker stall near the market. Lunch was around midday. We usually ate grains, meat and olives. Cena was the main meal of the day. It was towards the end of the day. During dinner, we would sit on couches, also we did not use forks, we would lean our left shoulder on the couch while eating food with our right hand, and slaves would sit on wood chairs.
  • Appetizers were eggs and fish. The main course was meat and veggies. Dessert was fruit, nuts and cheese. Metella would supervise the slaves, organize entertainment, educate her children, read and shop.
