The boys heard voices walking up so they hid behind a grave. When they got closer they realized who it was. It was Injun Joe, Muff Potter, and Doc Peterson

The men dug up a grave and Injun Joe wanted more money. The Doc disagreed so they started arguing. Doc pushed Joe to the ground. Then Muff and Doc Peterson started fighting.

Doc knocked out Muff with a headboard but didn't realize Joe picked up Muffs knife and snuck behind him. When he got his chance he stabbed him and the boys ran.
After he stabbed Doc, Joe put the knife in Muffs hand and waited for him to wake up. When he woke up Joe told Muff that he stabbed Doc but he didn't remember it because he was too drunk.
The men decided that they had to leave so they left the body where it was.
