This is how the Philippine Independent Church was Established. We follow and Worships similar as the Catholic, though we believe that God is only one or has one persona(Unitarian).
The Church managed to gather followers, most of them are people who oppose Spanish colonizers especially priests, revolutionaries, locals. and other known people who work or affiliated with Katipunan. But as years go by, the church's member count had a massive decrease over time due to the followers converting to other religions.
