  • John Quincy Adams was the Secretary of State and the Son of John Adams. He was up against Andrew Jackson and the vote went into the House of Reps and because of a Corrupt Bargain he won the vote.
  • Andrew Jackson a common was a war hero in the war of 1812. He was an accomplished General and was behind the acquisition of Florida. He was taking as a prisoner of war with his brother as a child. He was running for election against John Quincy Adams.
  • Henry Clay was the Speaker of the House of Reps. He was formerly in the presidential race, but didn't get enough votes. He told all of the people in the House of Reps to vote for Adams so he could be Secretary of State for Adams.
