- Tinkerbell is a Tinker fairy who lives at Pixie Hollows and invents gadgets with fairy dust to help other fairies in Pixie Hollows and the forbidden winter woods.

- Tinkerbell is curious about the forbidden winter woods, when she enters the woods not knowing that it is dangerous for her, her wings start to sparkle.
- CROSSING THE THRESHOLD
- After she goes back to Pixie Hollows she gets warned to not go back to the forbidden forest because it can damage her wings.
- TRIALS, ALLIES, ENEMIES
- Tinkerbell then searches for the reason why her wings sparkled and learns that it is because of her long-lost sister, Periwinkle. Periwinkle helps Tinkerbell find her way back to Pixie Hollows and navigate the forbidden winter forest.
- Tinkerbell finds a way to sneak her sister into Pixie Hollows and invents a snow machine for her to stay alive.
- The machine that Tinkerbell invented gets sabotaged by another winter fairy and it starts to create snow all over Pixie Hollows. Tinkerbell's fairy friends come to help her.
