THE PLANE PILOT
This story took place in the Canadian wilderness during the fall of 1987.
Problem: Brian was on a two-person plane with a pilot to visit his father, but the pilot had a heart attack mid-flight, and the plane crashed. Brian was forced to learn to survive with nothing but the clothes on his back, and the hatchet his mother gave him when he left.
Rising Action: After Brian's plane crashed, he was sick and injured for days. Afterward, he found foods he could eat and things he could use, and also those he could not. Living out in the Canadian wilderness took a learning curve, and Brian found that out very quickly. He had many close calls and almost died many times.
Climax: Brian learned how to survive, and slowly became "at peace" with living in the wilderness. He became comfortable around the animals, knew how to hunt, he made himself an animal-proof shelter and he learned how to take care of himself.
