Storyboard Text

  • The first step in the walking sequence is sitting up.
  • I used a dog to represent the baby sitting up.
  • The second step of the walking sequence is rolling over.
  • I used a snake to represent the baby rolling over, because snakes lay on their stomachs and use their bodies to move themselves instead of their arms and legs. (crawling)
  • The third step of the walking sequence is crawling.
  • I used a seal to represent crawling, because seals scoot around and help themselves with their arms and legs, similar to an infant crawling.
  • The fourth step to the walking sequence is standing.
  • The fifth and final step to the walking sequence is walking.
  • I used a penguin to represent standing, because penguins don't really walk, they more waddle around, which is what infants will do.
  • Once your baby starts walking, they will become very curious, it will be very important to "baby proof" your home to insure your baby is safe.
  • Now that your baby is walking, you need to introduce mobile toys to improve their walking.
