Mesoamerica stretched out from Mexico to parts of central America. The climate and land helped them thrive. Farmers learned how to grow different crops depending on the landscape.
The Olmec culture began along Mexico's Gulf, It was the birth of the Mesoamerica's First civilization. They had stone head statues built to be like there rulers. The end was a mystery to the world they just diapered.

The Zapotec started as one of the first major cities in Mesoamerica. They established there lives in the Oaxaca Valley, where 3 smaller valleys meet. The end was around a.d. 750 the city had weakened and disappeared.

The Maya came around at the same time as the Zapotec. Like the Olmec the Maya was great at farming. There crops included beans, chili peppers, cacao beans, and maize. The end was in a.d. 900, they were over crowded and food was short. They abandoned there city and left.

Some time around a.d. 1300 the Aztecs migrated to the Valley of Mexico. They thrived there and made the population grow. They had a great city called Tenochtitlan. They also made man made islands for the problem of starvation. They ended with the conquistadors arrived and everything fell.

The Spanish Conquistadors came when the Aztec was thriving. They were greedy for gold and other valuables. Although there were only a few of them they still concord them. The Aztec supplied them with guns, cannons, and horses.
