The details provided in the exposition is Max's background and were also introduced to Freak/Kevin. We also learn the setting down under ( max comfort place) The conflict is Man vs. Man. All of this is in the start of the story.
The rising action gives details about Max's dad getting out of jail. This was the tension made in the rising action following up to the climax.
The climax provides the details that Freak unexpectedly saves Max from Killer Kane. This surprise changes/turns the story.
In the falling action Freak gets a seizure on his birthday. So he's rushed to the hospital. This is all the action after the climax.
At the end of the story Max writes a story of all the adventures Freak the Mighty had. (In honor of Freak.)
Being loyal to your friends and that's priceless is the theme of the story. Through the whole story this was the developing theme. If Freak and Max were never loyal good friends then all the adventures would be at no use.
