One night in 1775, the British leader was commanding his soldiers to steal your weapons!
My plan is to start a surprise march and seize their weapons!
But lucky you, one midnight rider named Paul Revere, rode on his horse late at night and spotted the redcoats heading towards Concord!
Paul Revere returned where the Patriots were sleeping, to alert them. He also set up two lamps that was a signal that the Brisitsh were on their way.
The British are coming!
The next morning on April 19th, 1776, the redcoats reached Lexington, which was near Concord. Waiting for the British were 70 minute men. There was a shot that was unpredictable to follow, which killed 8 colonist.
The Patriots were massively out numbered, so they had to retreat. The British decided to rush the colonist, but there were 300 minute men waiting to stop the British from exiting Concord.
At the end, there was 73 British troops were dead, 300 were missing or injured.
