  • The pilgrims fled England and settled in the Netherlands in 1607  and stayed there for over  decade.
  • The middle passage was the stage of triangular trade.
  • In 1620 the pilgrims crossed the Atlantic ocean and they settled in the new world colony know as Virginia.
  • Also the middle stage is where they enslaved slaves.
  • The pilgrims came in contact with a native american.  
  • During this time the pilgrims were lead by William Bradford.
  • The pilgrims worked to establish positive relations with the local native people.
  • Trading ships would sail from Europe with goods to Africa.  
  • The European goods were than used to trade with the Africans.
  • Trading patterns which were established as early as mid 17th century. 
  • Also people from Africa where shipped to the new world   
  • The west Indians supplied the slaves sugar and fruits.
