We meet our characters, Chase and Jeremy. Already, we can pretty much see that Chase is an innocent, polite, and kind student. As for Jeremy, we can observe that he is rude and messed up.
Hey, I'm Chase. What's your name?
Geez. What's his problem?
Whatever...Friends call me J. But YOU get to call me Jeremy.
Alright, everyone! We have a new student today! Treat him well.
Ugh; new kid
Chase accidentally bumps into Jeremy, who over-exaggerates about the incident. He shoves Chase into a puddle, humiliating him in front of a bunch of students. Then, he throws out a threat, and a confused Chase wonders why Jeremy is such a jerk to him.
You do NOT get to push me! Watch it next time or I'll embarrass you even more.
I said it was an accident! What's your problem with me, dude?
A few days later, Jeremy and his little 'squad' of fellow students who are also cruel, follow Chase to the parking lot after school. They yell offensive and hurtful insults at him and take his necklace. It was given to him by his dad, whom he hasn't been able to see for 5 years. So, it is important to Chase, and he begs for them not to take it. Jeremy and his friends realize the significance of the necklace, so they take it and run. Leaving a hurt, young teen alone on the ground.
Chase gets fed up with Jeremy's constant and conspicuous hatred. He asks one more time why Jeremy acts the way he does toward him. Irked by just his presence, Jeremy shoves Chase into a locker. Both of them upset, they get into a fight. After a period of fists and blood, they are finally broken up by a staff member.
Later, the boys clean up and get sent to the principle's office. There, they argue and argue. The principle announces to them that they are in danger of being expelled. Chase, terrified, realizes how wrong he was and does not want to leave the school. Meanwhile, Jeremy is still angry, and couldn't care less about getting expelled.
Unacceptable! There should be no fights whatsoever in this school! You two may be expelled because of this nonsense!
Jeremy and Chase were both released from the principle's office, with the final decision of a 3 day suspension. But after school, they encounter each other, and they both apologize. They make up and become friends.
Sorry, Jeremy. I shouldn't have engaged in the fight.
No, I am really sorry. It was my fault all of this happened. I got jealous of you and started the fight. I am the one who really needs to apoligize. And please, call me J.
