  • All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!
  • All hail, Macbeth! Hail to tee, Thane of Cawdor! 
  • All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!
  • In Scotland the ruler is King Duncan. Macbeth is a brave and loyal solider. Banquo is a General in the King's army. He is a loyal friend to Macbeth. Lady Macbeth is insane. Macduff is a thane with two sons, Donalbain and Malcolm.  
  • Climax 
  • Banquo
  • Lady Macbeth

  • King Duncan 
  • The main conflict is man versus self. Macbeth was struggling with the desire for power and controlling his ambition. He wanted to be crowned King of Scotland and he did. He is in a battle with evil. After committing evil deeds he started to hallucinate.
  • Falling Action 
  • The three witches gave Macbeth predictions about his future. They stated that he would be King and Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth decided to murder people.  On Macbeth's second visit to the witches their leader told him new predictions. 
  • Denouement 
  • During the fight Macduff tells Macbeth that he was in fact not born from a women so Macbeth had someone to fear.  Macbeth was very surprised and scared at the same time after hearing this.  (Page 126-Panel 2) 
  • Macduff and Macbeth continue fighting with each other. Macbeth decides to keep on fighting despite the misleading prophecy. Macduff beheads Macbeth and he dies. 
  • Malcolm is crowned King and Macbeth is dead and so is Lady Macbeth from suicide. All of the thanes become earls. The kingdom has been restored.
