  • For many developing countries, agriculture is the main source of income.
  • Early farmers were able to grow food as a way of living, and a way to support and feed their families, as well as other families. More food is able to accommodate more people. This encourages nutrition witch increases life span.
  • Population growth is a main reason global energy consumption has increased. We all use energy daily. More people need more energy to live and work.
  • Another contribution to the global energy consumption is the economic growth. Many company's and factories rely heavy on natural gas. This is due to the demand of many products. 
  • The demand for many things is also a reason why energy consumption has increased. With a higher demand, more people want it, so they are going to continue to use more.
  • The United States makes up about 4.25% of the worlds population.
  • The United States used about 17% of the worlds energy in 2017.
  • Overall, energy and population is increasing. In the future, we can expect the numbers to be much higher since new technology will be launched and more people will want it.
