- I am Cindy. My full name is Cynthia Ann. I am 9 years old. This is my sister, Emily. She is 12 years old. She is scared of spiders, white mice, frogs and snakes. I like snakes
- Uncle's farm
- I found a garter snake in my uncle's farm. It was as long as my arm. It had 3 pale stripes and orange dots on its body. It had little blue slashes on its head. I called it Red Eye because it had red eyes.
- I remembered when Emily had not given me pocket money for Dad's birthday present. And she had complained about me when I had used her hairbrush on the dog.
- Emily is scared of snakes. She thinks all snakes are venomous.
- Take this coffee can for keeping Red Eye. Poke little holes in it for Red Eye to breathe.
- Keep it as a pet.
- Nonsense. A garter snake will not harm anyone if it is handled properly.
- Mom helped to find my old fish tank in the garage. I like watching Red Eye eat. When I give it a raw piece of fish, it swallows it whole.
- Red Eye is missing.
- I guess I'll help you find Red Eye.
- Emily started screaming because she was holding a bunched-up towel with Red Eye inside it.Cindy thanked Emily because she had touched a snake for her.
