  • The Blitz on Britain
  • Attack on Pearl Harbor
  • Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. The Polish Army was defeated within weeks.
  • Holocaust
  • The Blitz on Britain was German offensive tactic to get Britain to give up. What the Blitz was, was right after Hitler occupied France and he was aiming for Britain. Since he was trying to get Britain he wanted it easy and fast, so instead of a land invasion he chose bombs.
  • Battle of Stalingrad
  • The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military attack that happened on December 7, 1941. It was an attack by the Japanese Navy Air force on the naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. 2,403 Americans were killed and 1,178 others were wounded.
  • D-Day
  • The Holocaust was a genocide during World War 2, that was coordinated by the Nazis. And what it did was kill 6 million European Jews and wiped out two-thirds of the Jewish population in Europe. 
  • The Battle of Stalingrad was the largest confrontation of World War Two, where Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union. They fought for control of the city Stalingrad in Southern Russia.
  • The Normandy landings were landing operations of the Allied invasion of Normandy. Allies invaded Northern France by beach landings in Normandy on Tuesday June 6, 1944
