Glowing beaches part 2

Storyboard Text

  • One of them is Mosquito Bay, Vieques. BahíaMosquito stands proud with a recognition that has been earned thanks to unbeatable efforts of natural conservation: we are talking about the best protected bioluminescent bay and the brightest on the planet; This has been certified by the Guinness Book of Records.
  • The most common way to get to know this incomparable corner is to make night raids in kayaks and navigate the bay, carefully admiring the magic that is created on the sea surface. Being calm waters, with hardly any waves, the activity is aimed at both adults and young people, ideal to enjoy with the family.
  • These tours usually last around two hours, you can play with the guide oars and dip your hands in the water to see how thousands of tiny brilliants flow between your fingers. Swimming in the bay is not allowed due to ecosystem protection issues, unlike La Pargeura bay.
  • Although said to be the least brilliant of the three bays, La Parguera is no less beautiful. In addition to its convenient location, the beauty of La Parguera is that you can go snorkeling in the sparkling waters. Tour operators combine kayaking or daytime water adventures with an unforgettable night of swimming.
