Well, I don't get it. Probably some weird ritual.
Do you want to be dumped in?
The soldiers are searching through the ruins of a city, when they notice a young Vietnamese girl dancing. Azar finds it bizarre and questions why she is dancing. Nobody else seems to care.
After the men drag out the girls's family's bodies, she is still dancing and smiling. Azar does not like it. The girl was quiet and seemed composed. Azar finally dismissed the dance as some weird ritual.
Later that night at camp, Azar thought it would be funny to mock the girl's dancing. Henry Dobbins, a rather large man, was not pleased with this, and took it upon himself to pick up Azar, carry him to a well, and ask if he wanted to be dumped in. Azar said that he did not, and Dobbins responded, "All right... then dance right."
