Me and my family are going to Plymouth, Harbor because we have experienced religious persecution.
Thank you for having us! This is an exciting new adventure for our family.
Welcome to the Mayflower.
When we were on that boat it was very cold and people were getting really sick and getting frostbite. There was no way that everyone was getting off that boat alive.
Some people even suffered from a sickness called scurvy and others were seasick.
Day after day my family and me watched people who died thrown off side of boat to prevent more sickness.
After we got off the Mayflower, we started to build our settlement and we named it Jamestown.. But one day two Indians showed up and they were named Tisquantum and Squanto. Soon after we began to trade goods with the friendly indians.
The relationship between the first Pilgrms and Natives helped establish the "first" Thanksgiving, held at Plymouth, November 1621.
