Storyboard Text

  •  Three men, Bernardo, Marcellus, and Horatio, spot a ghost in the courtyard and become frightened. They claim it looked like the late king of Denmark 
  •  Act I 
  •  Hamlet meets with the ghost of his father, and is told that Claudius was the one who killed him. Hamlet swears to the ghost that he will get revenge. 
  •  Act I 
  •  Act III 
  •  Hamlet rejects Ophelia, presenting himself as completely crazy. This is also the scene where he gives Shakespeare's famous 'To be or not to be' soliloquy.
  •  Hamlet confesses to his mother that he was faking his madness. He hears a noise and assumes it is Claudius spying, but it ends up being Polonius who he kills. 
  •  Act IV 
  •  Act IV 
  •  Laertes returns to Denmark, furious at Claudius, who he believes killed his father. Claudius tells him it was Hamlet, and proposes a plan to kill Hamlet so they both can be rid of him.
  •  Act V 
  •  The plot to kill Hamlet goes wrong, leaving the queen dead. Hamlet kills Claudius, and then he and Laertes take eachother out.
