This uber will take me straight to my girlfriends house!
Driving on the road (entering the cervix)
Oh no! A cone! It's ok we can go around it!
Cruising on the road (uterus)
OUT OF THE WAY!
IM GONNA BE LATE! THIS AMBULANCE IS TRYING TO KILL ME!
the sperm enters the vagina and starts its journey to the fallopian tubes. The sperm destroyed by deadly acids that protect the vagina.
Getting off the exit (into the Fallopian tubes)
The sperm travels through the cervix. The cervix is usually plugged with mucus to defend against invading pathogens.
Trying to find the house (sperm finding the egg)
The sperm that make it travel through the uterus and have to fight off the white blood cells. If they make it they make direct contact with the egg in the fallopian tubes. Grow of a baby happens here.
Arrives at the house (fertilization)
We are finally together!
The sperm takes an "exit" to the direct doorway to the fallopian tubes. This is called the uterobual junction. The sperm is still trying to find the egg through this process.
Here's the exit!
The sperm is travelling through the fallopian tube and finally sees the egg in the distance.
I see her and her house!
The sperm finds the egg and fertiziles at the "house". The egg sheds layers to be able to propel faster in order to penetrate the egg. Timing must be perfect because the sperm will only live for a couple of hours. The sperm will come into contact wuth the egg and the enzymes explode so the sperm will be able to penetrate the egg.
