Storyboard Text

  • When a person is driving a car it is moving at a certain speed. The speed can change but for right now we are going to talk about speed.
  • Speed is the distance traveled per unit  in a certain time. Speed can be calculated by distance divided by time.
  • WHen you are running velocity is working upon you.
  • Velocity is when you are going in a certain seed and direction.
  • Acceleration is when there is a change in the speed or direction of the where the object is going.
  • When a ball is rolling down a surface it can accelerate.
  • The heavier the object is the faster it's going to go down the ramp.
  • The lighter the object is the slower it will go down the ramp then the heavier object.
  • A different form of acceleration is deceleration. It's when the object is slowing down. Like when you kick a soccer ball and it starts to slower down to a stop.
