Saul and his grandmother Naomi loaded up a tent into the canoe along with all of their geese and fish they have left. Naomi also made shawls and boots to help keep them warm.
Pack all of the supplies into the canoe.
The snowfall was intense and froze the two so much that it was difficult to even paddle the canoe.
When the first night finally fell, Naomi cooked a goose and some tea for supper. When it was time to sleep, she turned the canoe over for extra protection against the wind.

Saul and Naomi rested during the night again. The fire they built was tiny and it hissed. Naiomi managed to find enough branches to make the fire last through the night, so that the fire was able to keep them warm enough through the night.

In the canoe this day, Saul and his grandmother both dozed off to sleep.
