Shall I speak ill of him that is my husband? Ah, poor my lord, what tongue shall smooth thy name. When I, thy three-hours wife, have mangled it? But, wherefore, villain, didst thou kill my cousin. That villain cousin would have kill'd my husband.
Internal Conflict (Man vs. Self) Act III, Scene II pg. 180 lines 101-105
In Capulet's orchard, Juliet is finds herself torn over which side to choose. Although Romeo killed her cousin Tybalt, he could have been just defending himself because Tyblat likes to pick a fight. On the other hand, Romeo and Juliet have only been married for three hours and sticking with her family might be the right thing to do. Either option can end with betrayal.
