  • P a l e o l i t h i c A g e
  • Hey Alfred, where are you?
  • P. Age Continues
  • Oww! These bushes are sharp!
  • Also, these berries may be dangerous!
  • Neolithic Era (the revolution)
  • Hmm, if we can plant wheat like this one here, we won't need to risk our lives searching for food!
  • The Paleolithic times were hard, men had to hunt for food, which had huge risks involved, mostly because of the wild animals out in the, well wild, also, disasters can effect the amount of food near the vicinity of the hunting party, so it was a tough life to live. So as you can see, Rob probably won't be seeing Alfred ever again. But things will change.
  • N. Age (so much food)
  • caught myself some good salmon!
  • Deal! The trade is done.
  • Life wasn't just hard for men, women like these fine two, have to also risk themselves for food, you never know if that one strange green berry is going to have magical healing powers or could start eating your internal organ from the inside out. But they don't just hunt for berries, also nuts and wheat and other essential plants for survival.
  • Permanent homes, and laws
  • Welcome to town, here are some laws you must follow...
  • (told ya things will change) But then things started to go to the positive side of life, our nomad friend here (Paul is his name) discovered that he could grow his very own wheat, and soon after things started to go smoothly, instead of crashing every time you want some food.
  • Tradin'
  • Hey! How 'bout that ox plow you had.
  • Alright now, that's going to be expensive!
  • Since the abundance of food supply was already a lot, some people switched to other jobs, like fishing, trading (merchants), and other jobs. But the allowance of people having other jobs were also extremely important because it allowed people to create convenient and useful tools such as the ox plow for farming.
  • come on girl, just a little more!
  • And so people soon got settled and got a permanent place to live, and since there was such a large amount of people living in one condensed vicinity, they had to create laws for people, and of those who didn't follow the rules become slaves and work for free, kinda sad.
  • Talking more about the inventions people made, that traded it for more material. Since the city states had so many people in there, of course some people would want items some people have, so they would give them something, and if they both accept the deal, they trade the items. Travelers would go around and trade valuable items they have.
