Sandy has been stuck in a pine tree for years, and one day there is a crack that gets bigger and bigger and then Sandy fells a rattling and knows she has a hope of escaping.
Sandy feels warm and rain, she's trying to stretch out, when a drop of water hits her and sends her flying.
Sandy settled at the bottom of a river after being thrown around and she watched the seasons change from summer to fall and could fell the cold air in the mornings and on the quiet cold nights she could hear the waves crashing which lullabyed her to sleep.
Sandy is woken from her coma by a cold splash of water and gets swept away to the ocean and as she turns around to see her resting place one last time, she sees it filled with rocks and there are rocks crashing around in the ocean, and Sandy gets caught up in all of it and gets broken up in lots of little pieces.
Several months later the storm cleared up and Sandy was washed up on the shore stuck to a piece of kelp and over the years it started to rot and decay and Sandy saw crabs, sea gulls, insects and lots of other animals which were licking and eating the kelp and Sandy thought it was a party just for her.
Sandy is surrounded by millions of other grains of sand and sometimes she gets stuck in someone's shoe and walks a few feet on the sands and some times she gets scooped up into a pail and gets turned upside down by the ocean and likes to hear the little kids laugh and likes to see the little kids smiles.
