I am so glad that we can domesticate animals for food and grow our own crops.
I love being able to have a stable food supply.

Stone Age Shelter
Is that another wild animal?
I wish we had shelter that would protect us.

Stone Age Communities
What is your job for the day?
In the Paleolithic age people relied on resources near them such as animals and plants. In the Neolithic age people started trade. People traveled very far in order to get things that they needed that they couldn't get in their own area. Trade was important because more resources were used and people came in contact with people from distant places.
Stone Age Jobs
I love being the toolmaker.
In the Paleolithic age people didn't have permanent shelters because they were nomads always searching for food. In the Neolithic age people were able to have permanent shelters because they had a stable food supply. It was important because it gave people protection and allowed them to make larger communities.
In the Paleolithic age people lived in small groups of between 20 and 60 people. In the Neolithic age people started to settle in larger groups which let them split up the workload. Living in communities was important because it gave people time and energy to do more things and people could better defend themselves.
In the Paleolithic age the main job that they had was to find food and survive. In the Neolithic age people had different jobs so they could do things better and faster. Having jobs was important because it inspired people to improve their skills which led to newer and better ways of doing things. It also added greater variety to the community.
