There is a lot of water and seas in Greece, especially mountains. Many Greeks became skilled sailors. They traded and brought things back and forth. They brought back new ideas too, not just items.
On the Hilltop, there was a acropolis and there were different rooms to dedicate different gods and goddesses. Down below there was a town with a market, a theater, some houses, and a few public buildings.
