  • Greeks to rebel and Athens sending ships to help but the Persians crushed them.
  • The Persians were going to expand their empire. 
  • But the Greeks and Persians ruled differently which caused the 
  • The Greeks decided to trick the Persians by not showing up
  •  To attack when the Persians were in the water packing up, that's how they won
  • So the Persians decide to pack up and that's when the Greeks decided
  • The Persians beat the Spartans at Thermopylae and a traitor helped the Persians to attack the Greeks  
  • So sadly the Greeks lost the battle of Thermopylae 
  • The Greeks Leonidas dismissed his trooped and had 300 men fight to the end  
  • Athens lured the Persian's big ships into the narrow water way 
  • The Greeks were able to sink about 300 ships, That's how the Greeks won
  • Athens ships were small enough to fit through and trap the Persian's ships 
  • The Greeks defeated the Persian army and the Persians lost control of the Greek city-states 
  • The Greeks come together to build a strong army and both sides had over 100,000 soilders
  • After the Persians lost their control of the Greek city-states, the Persian Empire slowly weekend. As at the time Xerxes was the king, he was a very weak king that didn't give Persia the push that it needed. So the empire sadly fell.
