Storyboard Text

  • The conquered Greek city-states rebel against Persia with help from Athens.
  • The Persian war started at 490 B.C. It was a war between Greece and the Persian. The war ended in 480 B.C.  In the end, Greece won. 
  • The Battle of Marathon.
  •  The battle of the marathon was with Persians and Greece again. Athenians won this time. They won because the Athenians had way more soldier than the Greeks had. They had 20,000 but the Greeks only had 10,000.  
  • The battle of Thermoplae 
  • The battle of Thermoplae was between the Greeks and Persians.  The Persians won the battle this time because they stopped the greek army from reaching athens and they had 7,000 soldiers. 
  • The Battle of Salamis
  • The battle of Salamis was between Persia and Greek. But when the fight ended the Greeks won the battle. The Athenians lured the Persians to a narrow, then they trapped them because the Persian boats/ships were way too big.
  • The battle was between the Persians and the greeks. The Greeks won because they had the largest army that they had ever seen. Their shields were also way stronger than any of their swords. 
  • The battle at Plateta 
  • Well, the fights along to Persians and the greeks are DONE!FINALLY! Greece and the Persians made a peace agreement. They thrived and had a growth in culture after all that fighting.
