Storyboard Text

  • After Ben put his dog, Rocket, in his pen, he picked up his pen and paperto write.
  • Suddenly, Ben heard a deep bark. He ran to the tree to find Rocket scratching at the bark.
  • BARK BARK BARK
  • Ben decided to take Rocket to the dog park. He turned his back away from him to get Rocket's leash. When he turned back, Rocket was still sitting perfectly.
  • I'm going to escape!
  • When he tried to put the leash on, Rocket bolted. Ben sprinted after Rocket as fast as he could.
  • Next time, after I get the leash on him, I need to bolt him to the post right away!
  • Rocket, come back, now!
  • Ben was very wound up now. He decided to let out some of his anger by throwing a ball. He wound up and threw a ball at the tree as hard as he could.
  • Ben then tried to listen for Rocket. Usually, he could hear his deep bark a mile away. He also tried calling him. After a few minutes with no sound, Ben went inside and continued his writing.
  • I know he will return soon. For now, I should take advantage of the peace.
  • Here, Rocket! Here, boy!
