Theodore Roosevelt was a man who understood the working class, and even helped negotiate the Coal Strikes in Pennsylvania. He passed many labor policies so the working class would be comfortable.
Theodore knew that america was a beautiful country, and he decided it was time to preserve the amazing land. Which led to the Antiquities Act of 1906.
Theodore was very outgoing and was caring and kind, he loved the people of the United States.
Theodore came up with a domestic policy called the "Square Deal". This consisted of Roosevelt's "3 C's". Conservation of natural resources, control of corporations, and consumer protection.
Theodore was in office after the assassination of President McKinley. Theodore was Vice President, so he was given the role of president soon after.
Theodore Roosevelt had previous political experience. He was the governor of New York, and worked in the civil service comission.
