  • Stamp Act, 1765
  • Boston Tea Party, 1773
  • Lexington And Concord Battles, 1775
  • The Stamp act ordered colonists to pay tax on paper, licences, newspaper and many more.
  • Battle Of Saratoga, 1777
  • Colonists were taxed on tea, so they boycotted and did not buy the tea. Once the England tea company was sailing to America to drop off tea but angry protesters prevented them from unloading. 90,000 pounds of tea was dumped off the Boston Harbor that day.
  • Battle Of Yorktown, 1781
  • General Gage was informed that the colonists were hiding a large supply of gunpowder and  decided to attack and once. But patriots were watching their every move and Paul Revere was spreading news that the British are coming. Then British were searching for gunpowder in Concord but could not find them.
  • Treaty Of Paris, 1783
  • The Battle of Saratoga was a turning point for the American Revolution. This Battle was fought for fourteen days.  On September 19th, General John Burgoyne had a victory over the colonists and was defeated on October 7th.
  • The Battle of Yorktown was the most important battle of the Revolutionary War. General Washington was commanding a force of 17,000 French and Continental troops. The British had 9.000 troops. After three weeks of fighting, British surrendered.
  • The Treaty Of Paris officially ended the Revolutionary War and gave America their Independence.
