  • Today we will talk about Intellectual Property Rights and its key rights.
  • Intellectual Property Rights are the rights of an individual over his or her written work.
  • Intellectual Property has four key rights. They are Patent, Copyright, Trademark, and Trade secret. But today we will only discuss Patent and copyright.
  • Patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention. This may be a product or a process that provides a new way of doing something.
  • Next is Copyright. Copyright is a legal term used to describe the rights of an author. It covers works like books, music, paintings and many more.
