- Before the potato blight, poor Irish farmers struggled to grow crops due to the constant wars occurring in their country, It was during that time, when the potatoes were discovered.
- I want some potatoes
- Before the potato
- But this is for me
- At first, everything seemed perfect, the potatoes survived terrible weather conditions and seemed very hardy. But then the potatoes started to get infected by a disease known as the blight. It destroyed many potatoes, making them unable to eat.
- What are we gonna eat!!
- Potato famine start
- Oh no! My potato died!
- What do you mean
- The British government tried helping by stopping the import of corn, which helped some survive but not all did. The poor ate uncooked corn and some also died from that.
- Im gonna die from hungry
- DONT DIE PAPPAAA
- During the potato
- please take this corn
- To avoid the potato famine poor families had to migrate away from their homelands to places where their potatoes can grow
- MIGRATION!

- The ships lacked of resources which caused many to starve and even die. The ships were also built poorly and could have broken down anytime which would have killed everyone in the ship
- Im still gonna die from hungry
- During the migration
- I NEED TO EAT THE CORN
- MAMA!!

- After migrating
- Many died in the ships however there were ones that made it through the journey, and the ones who did were rewarded with a peaceful life.
- We made it!
- In the boats there were a lack of resources. The ships were poorly built and could break down anything time it then would sink everybody in there
