George and Lydia Hadley both check on the nursery's setting. George is unhappy with the setting an demands Aladin, but the setting stays as Africa.
George and Lydia d not have an ideal relationship with the kids. The patents have been neglectful, therefore the kids do what they want whenever they want . One night the parents heard familiar, but did not decide to check on it.
George and Lydia went into the nursery and the kids pushed them into the room and locked the door. They then found out who's familiar screams they were hearing and why the setting in the room would not change because they were being eaten alive by lions.
Literary Term- Foreshadowing
The kids were planning this event for days. The setting of the room would not change because of how many times they thought of the plan of killing their parents.
David McClean was coming to the house to help the family pack and move out, but when he arrived he saw lions and vultures feeding with the children acting innocent.
