Storyboard Text

  • Turner Alverson and Freddie Fisher
  • This story is about a young boy getting taught a lesson for trying to steal a purse from a lady.
  • Learning lessons
  • There  is always a lesson to be learned from your actions.
  • In Mrs. Jones house
  • '...She dragged the boy inside, down the hall, and into a large kitchenette...'
  • Thank you, M'am
  • Mrs. Jones
  • Now, here, take this ten dollars and buy yourself some blue suede shoes.
  • "Sometimes in life your situation will keep repeating itself until you learn your lesson" -Brigitte Nicole
  • When Roger attempts to steal Mrs. Jones's purse
  • It was about eleven o clock at night, and she was walking alone, when a boy ran up behind her and tried to snatch her purse.
  • Instead of her turning him in she, gave him a second chance which taught him a better lesson then him spending time in jail.
  • In conclusion...
  • The element I thought revealed the theme was the setting. When Mrs. Jones brought him into her house, he knew he had a second chance.
  • This supports the theme by showing how he had learned his lesson and how he was rewarded for it.
  • This lead up to her bringing him into her house and talking to him which helps him learn his lesson.
