Storyboard Text

  • Be off, old man! I am the beggar around here! You need to leave.
  • Please, could you spare some money?
  • You filthy glutton! Old fish hag!
  • I mean no harm!
  • Hey! The winner gets the goats' paunches!
  • Irus struck Odysseus' right shoulder and Odysseus hit Irus' neck, breaking some bones in his skull. Blood spilled out onto the street. The suitors congratulated him on his win.
  • BAM! POW!
  • Fight! Fight! Fight!
  • After completing a drink offering, Odysseus went on his way.
  • But wash your face first so you do not look like you've been crying!
  • Geez, thanks, Eurynome. I am sad, okay?!
  • Psst...You should go see the suitors so they fall more in love with you and do not harm your son or husband. Also, go to sleep so I can make you look pretty!
  • A little while later, Athena came to Penelope's room and put thoughts in her head.
  • Oh my goodness, we are so enamored with Penelope and her beauty.
  • I understand you are displeased, mother, but you do not fully understand the situation.
  •  Those suitors wished for the stranger's harm and should get a beating.
  • Telemachus, why are you letting the stranger be so mistreated? You know how we taught you.
