  • Hey! I heard you're new here at Jurassic Park! Let me teach you about cloning. Let me take you to the Lab!
  • Cloning is the process of making a genetically identical copy of an organism. Here in Jurassic Park we are working on cloning dinosaurs.
  • Sure! Let me show you. Follow me!
  • Fascinating! Can you explain how you started cloning dinosaurs?
  • Cloning Dino's:
  • We once found the blood of a dinosaur in a mosquito that had been fossilized in amber. The DNA from the dinosaur was so old that we had to repair some of it. After that, we had the materials we needed to clone a dinosaur.
  • We put the DNA into an egg cell that we removed the nucleus from. We then put the egg cell in a safe and sterile environment for it to grow.

  • 1. It allows us to bring extinct or endangered species back to life.2.It can help lead to discoveries in other scientific fields.3.We can make the dinos have desired traits.
  • Pros:
  • 1.Health defects like blood and heart problems.2.Least effective and most expensive way to produce offspring.3.Reintroducing extinct animals can have unpredicted consequences.
  • Cons:
  • Here we work very hard to extract DNA and incubate eggs here in Jurassic Park Lab. See you later!
