Being mainly gold, my color goes with this job because you have to be organized, coming to work on time, working hard.
This career is related to my interest inventory because a lot of the school subjects I choose were math or health science related. Being a physical therapist you need to take all the health science and math classes as you can.
This career interested me because I have always wanted to be in that field of work, whether it was a chiropractor, physical therapist, dentist/dental assistant. The reason for this is they all help people in ways most doctors don´t.
Physical therapists can work in clinics and hospitals, but if you don´t want to work in big cities you can work in private offices, patient homes and nursing homes.
If you do not want to be a physical therapist but want to be in the medical field here are some other options. You can be an occupational therapist, chiropractor, recreational therapist, speech and language therapist, audiologist, physical therapist assistant, and an aides.
There are lots of different types of therapy that a physical therapist can do. These therapies can include: orthopedic, post-operative care, cardiovascular, neurologic rehabilitation, or pulmonary rehab. Generally a physical therapist will select one area to specialize in.
